Snowboard Rentals

Cottonwood Heights, Utah · From $40/day

We rent snowboards the same way we rent skis: the gear gets tuned between every rental, the boots get fitted properly rather than guessed at, and the bindings are set to your stance before you leave the building.

We're at 3700 Fort Union Blvd in Cottonwood Heights, at the junction of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons — 25 minutes from Brighton and 20 from Solitude, the two Big Cottonwood resorts most riders are headed to.

One thing worth knowing before you drive: Alta does not allow snowboarding. It is one of a handful of skiers-only resorts left in the country. Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude all welcome riders.

What You Get

The board

All-mountain boards sized to your weight and riding style, waxed and edged before every rental. Tell us if you're mostly riding groomers, park, or powder and we'll pick accordingly.

Boots that actually fit

Snowboard boots pack out fast, so a rental boot that feels loose in the shop will feel much looser by lunch. We fit them snug on purpose and explain why.

Bindings, set to your stance

Mounted, angled, and adjusted before you walk out — not handed to you in a box. Come back any time during your rental and we'll change them for free.

Snowboard Rental FAQ

Adult snowboard packages are $40 for the first day, $35 on day two, and $30 a day from day three. Junior packages are $25, $22, and $19. Every package includes the board, boots, and bindings.

Yes. We set your stance width, angles, and highback lean before you leave, and we adjust them again free of charge if something feels off. Tell us whether you ride regular or goofy and roughly how long you've been riding and we'll dial it in.

As a starting point, a board that reaches somewhere between your chin and your nose suits most all-mountain riding, adjusted for weight more than height. Heavier riders size up, lighter riders size down, and park riders usually go a little shorter. We'll size you at the counter — bring your weight and boot size if you know them.

Yes. If you already have boots you like, bring them in — a familiar boot is worth more than a new board. We'll mount bindings to fit them.

Brighton and Solitude in Big Cottonwood Canyon are both excellent for snowboarding, and Brighton has a well-regarded terrain park plus night skiing. Snowbird allows snowboarding too. Alta is skiers only — no snowboards.

Walk-ins are welcome and we hold inventory for them, but weekends and powder days go fast. Reserve 24–48 hours ahead if your dates are fixed. We're open daily 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
