Is a season ski rental worth it?
If you ski more than about six or seven days a winter, a season lease costs less than renting by the day — our sport ski package is $35 for the first day. A nine-year-old can go up a boot size and a ski length between December and March. Buy gear in November and there is a reasonable chance it does not fit by the end of the season — and a decent chance it does not fit their sibling either.
A season lease sidesteps that. The equipment is sized when you collect it, and when your child grows out of it you bring it back and we swap it. No second purchase, no reselling last year's skis, no guessing in October what size they will be in February.
It also means the gear is maintained. Leased equipment gets serviced through the winter rather than sitting in a garage getting rusty edges — which is what usually happens to a bought pair by year two.

Multiply your realistic number of ski days by the daily rate and compare it to the season price when you call. If you ski four days a year, daily rentals win and we will tell you so. If you ski fifteen, or if you have two children in lessons, the lease is the obvious answer.

Fitted, not handed over
Boots fitted and bindings set to weight, height and ability before anything leaves the shop. The same fitting standard as a purchase.
Mid-season size swaps
Kids grow. Bring the gear in and we change the size. This is the single reason most families lease.
Servicing through the winter
Edges, bases and binding checks handled during the season, rather than discovered in a garage next November.

For anyone skiing more than about a week over the winter, yes, usually by a wide margin. Our sport ski package is $35 for the first day, so roughly six or seven ski days is the point where a season lease starts paying for itself. If your family skis ten or fifteen days a year, it is not close.
Bring them in and we will swap the size. That is the main reason families lease rather than buy for kids — a child can go up a boot size and a ski length inside one winter, and buying twice in a season is painful.
Skis, boots and poles, or board, boots and bindings for snowboarders. Everything is fitted properly when you collect it, and we adjust bindings and check release settings before it leaves the shop.
Early. Inventory in popular sizes — especially junior sizes — goes before the season starts, and the queue in the first week of December is long. October and November are the right time to come in.
Yes. Leased equipment is maintained and adjusted through the season. If something is not right, bring it in — that is part of what you are paying for and it is the main advantage over buying second-hand online.
Yes. Adult season packages are available alongside junior packages. They suit people who ski regularly but are not ready to commit to buying, and people who want to try a full season on a setup before spending on their own.
Book Before the Season Starts
